I found a torn book in a book box, but there was enough structure left to make a decent renovation. So I used it as an excuse to do my first leather binding, and gold leaf caligraphy with leather carving. Quite a programme!
Obviously I still have to learn, but I’m happy with the result for a first time. Most of the flaws are minimal, and I think it’s mainly down to lack of experience – and probably using screwdrivers for carving, because I didn’t have the right tools. 🤷♀️
